LACTEC and Dtcom will develop a project of distance education
The Institute of Technology for Development (LACTEC) and Dtcom, a leader in communication and professional distance training, signed a deal on Tuesday (27th) with the objective to develop a program for cooperation and technical, scientific, financial and education exchange. The agreement covers the activities of technical consulting, training, solutions development, research and development in the areas of Information Technology and communication and development projects of systems information.
According to LACTEC CEO, Luiz Malucelli Neto, "the discussions have been evolving since last May and have now arrived at the stage where it is possible to do good work together." The goal of the partnership is to improve and develop software that will be applied to a new educational technology platform to enable numerous projects of corporate distance education.
For Marco Eleuterio, CEO of Dtcom, the agreement binds the technological 'expertise' and content of LACTEC with the "know-how" from Dtcom in corporate distance education. The two companies, both from the state of Paraná, have come together to improve the provision of distance learning for all Brazil, he said. The expectation is to further expand the network of distance training in the country.
" LACTEC´s mission in this process is to realize actions that will allow an improvement in the distance educational system, enabling people located in the more remote parts of the country to improve their skills that are required for the workforce. The determination of the Government of Paraná is to ensure that the best education is offered, in fact, this is a flag held very tightly by the Governor, "said Malucelli.
In the market since 2000, Dtcom operates in the areas of Corporate TV by integrating technologies such as satellite broadcast, video and IP System web-streaming and Corporate Training in various remote areas, with premium channels, totaling more than 350 hours of collections of courses, with satellite transmission and complemented by the content of e-learning Portal Dtcom.
Dtcom, which counts as its clients companies such as Petrelli Group (Communication), Mongeral Previdência (Welfare), Holding Umuarama e Ouro Verde Investments, is a pioneer in Brazil's interconnected use of TV resources (tele classes) and the Internet (LMS) to promote education along with personal and professional development. For Luiz Malucelli, relations as developed in this professional partnership, demonstrate the ability of LACTEC to develop national technologies instead of importing them. |
