LACTEC signs agreement with FINEP to develop an original project
On Friday (27), the Administration and Finance Director of the Institute of Technology for Development (LACTEC), Vanessa Muniz, representing the CEO, Luiz Malucelli Neto, signed a partnership between the Ministry of Science and Technology, FINEP, LACTEC and Ferramentas e Equipamento Elétrico LTDA (FEERGS), to develop a project entitles "Regulator of Phase Spacing of Low Voltage Distribution Networks" that will be carried out by researchers from the Electronic and Technology & Materials Departments.
Governor Roberto Requião, Minister of Science and Technology, Sergio Rezende and Minister of Planning, Paulo Bernardo, all attended the event held in Curitiba.
The Project The project was conceived between the institute and FEERGS, with the aim of developing an innovative product aimed at optimizing processes regulating the spacing between phases at low voltage and reduce costs in the process of maintaining these networks.
Currently, to install the equipment commercially available, there is a need for physical contact between the electrician and the low-voltage grid. With the product to be developed, there will be no need for this contact, the equipment is installed at a distance, increasing the safety of the electrician. This study will involve researching the materials to be used, the best geometry of the product and the manufacturing process.
There will also be studies conducted on the electrical and mechanical properties of the materials used.
The value of the financing is R$788,000 and provides for the acquisition of new equipment that will be utilized for the project, and make possible further studies on the electrical and mechanical properties of materials.
The coordination of the project will be the responsibility of the researcher Edemir Luiz Kowalski along with the research team Vitold Swinka Son, Marilda Munaro, Marcelo Antônio Ravaglio, Arinos Jose Teixeira Junior and Rafael Pires Machado. FEERGS, headquartered in Cachoeirinha / RS, is co-financing the project and is chaired by Alexander Müller da Silva, one of the mentors of the project.
This was the only project approved by FINEP, for the State of Paraná, Public call MCT / FINEP-CT-ENERG 01/2009. |
